Paris - Oui !
Posted On Friday, December 20, 1985 at at 1:12 AM by AlvinMandy found this amazing ticket which included taking us over the Wintry British Channel, aboard a Paris-bound train, three nights of hotels in the centre of Paris (that came free with cockroaches with 3 inches forearms and hind legs), back to the safety of Dover, and in time for the New Year, all for 59 Pounds a person ! So we were off to explore all the interesting sites of this romantic capital - said Hello to Mona at The Louvre, admired Notre Dame, walked the Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, climbed The Eiffel Tower, scaled the hills up to serene Sacred Coeur, figuring out the modern designs of The Pompidou Centre, skipped the traffic at the Place de la Concorde and lots of great French foods and red wine ! All in 3 days, that was tiring !
