Watch Out ! Clones Of Mandy And Alvin Sighted In Sunny Chon Buri !

Most strange ! Clones looking dubiously like ourselves have been sighted here in sunny Chon Buri - by the Christmas tree, in the leisure park, next to the pool, watching TV, shopping at the supermarket, and even posing by a weed shop poster ... All thanks to the magic of modern photographic software - we only had to pose within capture distance, with no overlaps and a love of acting out funny postures and voila (!) we're done ! Oh, not to forget the important use of the bluetooth shutter !

Art In Paradise - The 3-D Wonderland In Pattaya

On a bright blue morning, we took a Songthaw all the way to the other end of Pattaya to visit the Art In Paradise studio. Having paid for our tickets, we were to download the studio's App onto our phone, which we could use to take photos and videos of the surreal 3D animated surroundings. Having gone through momentarily a mental exercise to work out the App, we soon got the hang of the idea - menacing fire-blowing dragons, friendly octopus, mysterious Egyptian caves, African savanna and serene Buddhist temples all came ALIVE ! Silly but fun !

Jomtien - Back For Some Serious Fun !

Seeing my name card at Bangkok Airport Arrivals being held up by the lady driver, brought back a sense of deja vu, almost three years had passed since this happened ! We took no time though, in settling back in to the life of Pad Thai, a coconut by the beach, swimming all day and a Ballantine's soda at sunset time, yay ! The feeling was overwhelmingly one of relief - balmy weather, mask-free outings, long slow lunches and a chance to explore more of South East Asia at a REALLY leisure pace as we decided to spend a few months to get away from the hustle and bustle of our home environment and embarked on this journey of total relaxation carefree life.
