The Millennium Bug - Crushed !
Posted On Saturday, January 1, 2000 at at 9:37 PM by AlvinWe spent the afternoon of the Millennium Eve wandering the atmospheric Times Square and watching fireworks in Brooklyn in the evening - such a memorable night. I had to go back to work at the New York Stock Exchange the next morning and luckily found everything ticking over fine and the Millennium Bug didn't raise its ugly head. Needless to say, I took part in many many "Drills" over many many weekends beforehand to ensure all would be well; but those are amazing stories which we don't have time for right here, ask me another day; honest, the joys and pains of working in this city are so memorable.
It is very sad to be leaving the Big Apple but hey next stop Amsterdam, groovy baby, here we come !
