The Road To Mandaley

Mandaley awaited us next and little did we know, also was Hotel “Aggro-Mozzies”. The mosquitos in this hotel were so aggressive that they kept literally “ramming” into our bedsheets which we used to hide under ! Apart from these unfriendly locals, Mandaley was a very nice city, especially we happened to meet up with our jeep driver Mr Htun-Htun who was recommended to us by a couple from England we met in the Bar. We went on his open-top jeep to Amarapurra and the U Beins Bridge, nice day out !

We also visited Mandaley Hill where there were temples after temples as we scaled up the Hill through a wooden tunnel.
